Up too late. Up too early.

Admittedly I stayed up a bit late for me last night. I couldn't make myself get off the phone. For one thing, how often do people ask about emergent/the emerging church and not start attacking shortly thereafter? So, my conversation with my friends was a breath of fresh air. For another thing, Matt and Robin have always been some of my favorite friends to talk with. It strikes me that in conversations with them you have a conversation with both. Neither one sits and listens. They're both engaged in the conversation. This makes it more balanced (not so much male thinking) and interesting- because, who knows who's going to grab the phone?
